1. How to Delete Your Orca Baby Account and Data

At Orca Baby, we believe you should always have complete control over your family’s data. You have the right to permanently erase your account, all family profiles, and all tracking history at any time without fees or delays.

Option A: In-App Deletion (Instant & Automated)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Orca Baby mobile or web app:

1. Open the Orca Baby app on your device.
2. Tap the Settings tab in the navigation bar.
3. Scroll down to the Account & Data section.
4. Tap Delete Account & All Data.
5. Confirm the prompt. Your account, local cache, and cloud data will be wiped immediately.

Option B: Web Request (Without App or Device)

If you have already uninstalled the application or cannot access your device, you can request manual deletion by sending an email from your registered account address:

Or write directly to support@orcababy.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your Orca Baby account.

2. What Data is Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following items are permanently removed:

• Account Profile: Your email address, name, user ID, and cryptographic authentication tokens.
• Family & Child Profiles: Child names, birthdates, gender, and custom schedule settings.
• All Activity Records: Every sleep log, bottle and breast feeding record, diaper change, tummy time session, and medication/temperature log.
• Photos & Attachments: All uploaded milestone pictures permanently expunged from cloud storage (Amazon S3).
• Caregiver Connections: All shared access links, invitations, and family associations.

3. Data Retention & Processing Timelines

• In-App Deletion: Processed instantaneously upon user confirmation. All database records and session tokens are purged immediately.
• Email Deletion Requests: Verified and processed within 48 hours of receiving the request from the registered email address.
• Zero Backup Retention: We do not retain residual backup copies, shadow archives, or anonymized telemetry of deleted accounts. Once deleted, the data is permanently erased.
